Adult Social Care

Adult social care is about providing personal and practical support to help people in their daily lives.  Supporting individuals to maintain their independence and dignity and to make sure they have choice and control.

Every year, Connect2Kent place social care workers into roles working with vulnerable adults and we are regularly asked by Kent County Council to put forward skilled people for challenging roles in:

- Nursing and Residential Homes
- Day Centres
- Criminal Justice
- Substance Misuse

Roles Connect2Kent recruits for include:

- Support Workers
- Senior Support Workers
- Team Leaders
- Home Mangers
- Substance Misuse Workers

With the exception of Nurses and Registered Managers, it's not always essential to hold formal qualifications.

If you have experience of working in social care with vulnerable adults, search for a job or call one of our specialist consultants today.

Children's Social Care

The top priorities for children's social care are that the children in care are healthy and enjoy learning and achieving.  These important factors are combined with keeping the individuals in a safe and stable environment where they can contribute positively to a society that respects their rights.

Connect2Kent recruits for a variety of settings including residential, short-break services, family centres, youth projects as well as outreach services.  Whilst it is not essential to hold any formal qualifications, you will need to have previous experience working with these groups.

Typical roles include:

- Contact Supervisor
- Residential Support Workers
- Personal Advisors<
- Unaccompanied Asylum-seeking children
- Youth Offending Officers
